The Park Hotel Bangkok, Bangkok

The hotel has a dark and smelly location but the best asset is their quick access to everything. I felt the urge to leave as soon as possible due to its notorious reputation. The service was inconsistent, ranging from advice at entry to being ignored at the front desk. The dining experience was average, with limited breakfast options. However, the rooms were above all with clean and comfortable bath facilities. Despite the 400 baht payoff for face towels, the overall price was acceptable.

The hotel has its ups and downs. While the staff has always been pleasant and helpful, the rooms seemed a bit dirty and lacked modern amenities. The location, very close to the sky train station, is a major advantage, but the presence of mosquitoes and outdated bathrooms are definite drawbacks.

On the 400 baht payoff, my stay was full of mosquitos in the room, and the bathroom was old and grotty. Only able to pay for services at reception and for a fee was inconvenient. The presence of bed bugs urged me to avoid the breakfast altogether.

The hotel has been a reliable choice for us with consistent good service from the staff. Despite some issues like the lack of a TV remote control, the accommodation was satisfactory overall. We appreciate the efforts of everyone from the cleaner to the bellboy and reception staff.
